What an awesome idea - to leave it all behind for a while and become... oniompkins!
A number of years ago, a friend of mine gave me a plushy toy (a small bulgy yellowish vegetable with a green crest, a face, hands and feet) as a gift to add to my pumpkin collection. Actually, it turned out to be a pineapple... So from this moment on I imagined the little plushy pineapple, diagnosed with a severe personality disorder, sitting amidst all those clay and china pumpkins and stubbornly insisting it was one of their kind. "But you're a pineapple!" - "I am not! I'm a pumpkin! Rrrh! A pumpkin!!"
It was so much fun. I still have it, it's one of my favourite 'pumpkins' in the collection!
